Background
Vyombo Vya Heshima, meaning “VESSELS of Honor” in Swahili, is a spiritually driven singing group
hailing from the vibrant city of Kampala, Uganda. Rooted in their deep Christian faith, the group draws
inspiration from 2: Timothy 2:20, embodying vessels dedicated to serving God and carrying out His
divine will. As a Born-Again singing ensemble, Vyombo Vya Heshima passionately uses the rich tapestry
of African fusion to convey the transformative message of Jesus Christ.
Their mission is anchored in the Great Commission (Mark 16:15-16), as they strive to spread the
gospel to all nations through the universal language of music. The group’s inception traces back to May 24th, 2021, amidst the challenges of the Covid
